How can I filter or sort videos using the Filter field in the YouTube Showcase block?

The Filter field lets you control which videos are shown and how they are sorted using simple filter expressions.

Each filter uses this format:

group::key::is::value;

You can combine multiple filters using a semicolon (;).

Filter videos by category

tax::category::is::YOUR_TAXONOMY_VALUE;

Example:

tax::category::is::music;

Sort videos by date

misc::orderby::is::date;

Set sort order

misc::order::is::DESC;

• DESC = newest first
• ASC = oldest first

Combine filters

Example: show music videos, newest first:

tax::category::is::music;
misc::orderby::is::date;
misc::order::is::DESC;

Notes

• Filters are case-sensitive
• End each filter with a semicolon (;)
• Do not add spaces inside filters
