Greetings,
I am attempting to set the manager for the employees I have created. However only half of the available employees I have created show up in the box. As I arrow through to the next 5 options sometimes the same 5 options repeat. Only about half of my employees show in the boxes. Using search does not work at all. Searching on the employees that do show in the box does not bring them up. Search does not bring up the employees missing from the listing either. Because I am unable to create connections to the employee's manager the organizational chart feature is completely unusable. Thank you for your time and assistance!
Regards,
Chris Frazier
You are welcome. We’ve released the new version which has the fix. If you still have the same issue, just post a comment, we will reopen it.
We’ve found the issue and fixed it. A new release (2.3.0) will be published shortly. You should be getting an update notice in the plugins menu if your license is activated. Please check you site and confirm the issue is fixed after you updated EDP.
Yes, I was able to reproduce the issue. We will take a look and get back to you.
There should not be any duplicate record in the db. You had some records in the trash, possibly producing the uniqueness issue. The records in the trash can be restored that’s why we enforce uniqueness there too. I’ve created a couple of manager relationship. It looks like org chart works. I’ve found a notice when searching for “direct reports” of an employee from the admin list. We will fix it in the next release. Other than this it’s working:

Did you use the operations screen to import the records or third party?
Employee number must be unique number as well. How did you import your records? It seems like employees were not created using the interface. When I wanted to save one, it gave me unique record error. There should not be any duplicate records in the database including trashed ones.
There are 98 employees in the trash. Only 48 published. Is there any reason for that?
No, it is not necessary for creating employees. It is necessary for the employee can update their own employee profiles. Could you provide me the login info in a “private comment” please? I will take a look.
Thanks for reporting. Please respond with:
1- Are you logged in as admin, manager or employee?
2- Are all employees are assigned to employee role?
3- What version of PHP and WordPress are you using?
4- What version of Employee Directory Pro are you using?
